  • Zoolights at the Phoenix Zoo

    If you have never experience Zoolights, you are missing out!   • Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale

  • Phoenix Rock’n’Roll Marathon Series

    Start the year off right by participating in one of the various races at the Rock’n’Roll Marathon Series right here in sunny Phoenix Arizona! Phoenix is the first stop in the series. Friday (January 17) is kicked off by a Health and Fitness Expo held from 12pm to 7pm followed by a 5K and a Kids Rock Race on Saturday (January 19). If you’re really feeling froggy, Sunday (January 20) is the day for you! When you register, you can choose between a 10k, half marathon or full marathon all starting Sunday at 7:50am.

    Get ready to meet some friendly faces at the Phoenix Doggie Street Festival! This festival is being billed as “the world’s largest adopt-a-thon and pet celebration”! Doggie Street Festival (DSF) is dedicated to increasing dog and cat adoption through its yearly, multiple city festival.   • The Arizona Wine Festival

    The Arizona Wine Festival is the largest ever gathering of Arizona wineries. Presented by the Cochise Graham Wine Council, Inc. partners presents this fun festival featuring over 25 Arizona Wineries pouring over 200 different wines. The festival will include 5 to 7 food trucks, a vintage village, numerous other non-winery vendors as well as live entertainment. So come eat, drink and be merry!

  • The Waste Management Phoenix Open

    Are you ready for THE GREATEST SHOW ON GRASS? The 2020 Waste Management Phoenix Open presented by the Ak-Chin Indian Community will be held at TPC Scottsdale January 27 – February 2, 2020. “The People’s Open” was recently named the Tournament of the Year by the PGA TOUR for 2019. The 2020 edition will mark the 85th playing of the event (one of the five oldest events on the PGA TOUR) and the 11th as the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

    If you’re a golf fan, you’ll enjoy watching PGA tour pros such as Xander Schauffele, Hideki Matsuyama, Bubba Watson, Charley Hoffman, and Scottsdale resident Chez Reavie knock it around the course. Truthfully though, it really doesn’t matter if you are a golf fan or not. This event (or experience rather) is a must!

    Be sure to plan to stay into the evening at The Bird’s Nest to hear a musical lineup that includes stars such as Miranda Lambert, G Eazy, Dierks Bentley, and Kygo. Separate tickets will be needed for the tournament and concert events.

  • Arizona Strong Beer Festival

    20th Annual Celebration of Craft Beer with 130 breweries and over 500 top craft beers on tap.

    This year the Arizona Strong Beer Festival celebrates 20 Years! Brewers are scheduled to do 20 Collaborations with breweries within the state and across the country! This is truly one of the top festivals in the country featuring an amazing and large selection of craft beer. There is something for everyone. Many will be strong in flavor, character, and tradition — as well as specialty styles and unique, just-for-this-event brews. Festival-goers will have a chance to sample from over 130 breweries in Arizona and across the country. Each ticket holder will receive a commemorative tasting cup and drink tickets.   • ‘World Press Photo’ Exhibition in Downtown Phoenix

    The World Press Photo Exhibition, an acclaimed global press photography exhibit, will make a stop in Downtown Phoenix in January 2020. As the world’s leading contest for professional press photographers, photojournalists and documentary photographers, the exhibit comprises submissions from the 2019 World Press Photo Contest, awarding photographers for the best images contributing to the past year of visual journalism. Phoenix is the final U.S. stop on the tour. The photos will be on exhibit at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication – Arizona State University Downtown Phoenix Campus.

  • Chinese Culture & Cuisine Festival

    Come celebrate the Year of the Rat and experience the vibrant sights and sounds of the 30th Annual Phoenix Chinese Week’s Culture and Cuisine Festival. There will be dragon and lion dances, martial arts demonstrations, folk and traditional dances musical performances, great food and more! This is a family friendly event, so bring the kids!

  • Street Eats Food Truck Festival

    Over 55 food trucks will sell all types of food. EVERY menu will include a $2 sample. Once inside the festival, you can use cash or credit cards at all bars and food trucks (assuming the trucks takes credit card, most do). The event will include live bands, lawn games, eating contests, local vendor marketplace, kid’s zone, cooking classes, and more.

  • 32nd Annual Willo Historic Home Tour

    Currently there are 14 homeowners who will be showcasing their homes for the 2020 Willo Home Tour, but there may be even more! In addition to the Home Tour on Sunday, there will also be a Twilight Tour on Saturday evening as well as a street fair on Sunday. They will have a live band, a beer and wine tent, food vendors and a variety of others. Additionally there will be an expo with mostly hand-made items from local craftsmen and artists.  There will also be a Classic Car show! Don’t miss your chance to experience the historic charm and hospitality of this great neighborhood!

  • Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show

    February 13-23, 2020 at WestWorld, Scottsdale

    Since 1955 the Annual Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show has been one of the most prominent shows in the Arabian horse world. The first show was held at the grounds of the Arizona Biltmore Hotel. After the show’s beginnings at the Biltmore, Ann McCormick bought 150 acres in Scottsdale and made it into the horse facility known as Paradise Park which served the needs of the show for many years.

    Over the years, the show has grown from around 500 horses to nearly 2400 horses with their owners, trainers and breeders. Now, they all descend on WestWorld in Scottsdale every February in order to compete at a chance to win in their respective categories. A win at the Scottsdale Show can mean big money in the breeding barns. There are dressage events, western events, hunter jumper events and many more!

    In addition to the ongoing equestrian events, there is an expo that fills the interior of WestWorld with clothing, crafts, equestrian supplies, and more. Food trucks are available on site as well. This event is fun for the whole family and money raised goes to support a number of wonderful charities such as: the Arabian Horsemans Distress Fund, the ASU Western Equestrian Team, SCC Equine Sciences Scholarships and the March of Dimes.

  • Coronado Historically Modern Home Tour

    Date: Sunday, 2/23/2020

    Time: 10am-4pm

    Location: Coronado Neighborhood, Coronado Park, 1717 N. 12th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85006

    The 2020 Coronado Home Tour is not JUST a home tour (however, that is what interests us the most). It is also a street fair! According to their website there will be 50+ local vendors, food trucks, beer garden and live entertainment. So head over to Coronado Park to enjoy food, music, a lively street fair and amazing homes open to tour!

    This year’s tour will highlight both homes with a preserved history and fully renovated homes. Coronado is home to many types of architecture including Craftsman and and California bungalows, Spanish and Pueblo revival, Tudor style homes and Early / Transitional Ranch style homes, among others.

    Home Tour tickets can be purchased in advance online for $15 or on the day of the event for $20 cash or credit. Pick up your wrist band and Home Tour Guide book at the ticket booth in Coronado Park. Don’t forget to bring your I.D.’s for the beer garden!

  • Devour Culinary Classic

  • Modern Phoenix Week 2020

    Modern Phoenix Week 2020 will be held March 14-22, 2020. Tickets go on sale February 1 at 8 am. According to, the Home Tour sells out in hours. Because of this, it is highly encouraged that you to join their mailing list or put an alert in your calendar to recheck their website in late January for more details.

    According to their site, Modern Phoenix Week will include the some of the following events amongst others:

  • March Movie Mania at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park

    Grab a blanket and enjoy family friendly movies for FREE in the grass under the stars at the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park every Friday night during the month of March (the last Friday in February too)!  Concessions will be available for purchase, and the Paradise & Pacific Railroad and the Scottsdale Charros Carousel will be running.  Tickets will be sold in Stillman Station for $3. Children two and younger ride free with a paying adult.

  • Wild Rising by Cracking Art

    The Desert Botanical Garden’s newest art exhibition from Milan is called Wild Rising by Cracking Art. More than 1,000 animal sculptures made from colorful and recyclable plastic will be on exhibit. Wild Rising is included in the cost of general admission and membership of the DBG. With 12 installations, visitors will see 20 penguins posing among the cactus and 40 majestic grey wolves guarding the Sybil B. Harrington Cactus and Succulent Galleries.

    Per the DBG, “The vibrant art forms are the creations of Cracking Art, a collective of artists who specialize in plastic as an artistic medium with the intention of radically changing the history of art through a strong social and environmental commitment. The creatures featured in Wild Rising not only capture the magnificence of nature but also address global and local sustainability and conservation issues, including climate change, plastic in the oceans and the importance of recycling.”

    Installations will be on display now through May 10th, 2020.
