Oversized lot & pool allows space for entertaining or future plans. Private cul-de-sac home.
Bennie Gonzales was our native-son architect, someone with an eye and a design voice uniquely about, and from, Arizona. He was a prolific architect completing over 300 projects, notably among these are the Scottsdale Civic complex, still very much in use today. But of all his designs, his homes representing desert living, stand out. The spaces are remarkable, approachable and the proportions spot on. Gonzales brought meaning to his design choices such as his flat wall scuppers or “canales”, they were not merely decoration, these channels were roof drains, lined in glass tile, allowing the water to shimmer as it rains. In dry weather, they become a remembrance of water in the desert.
This serene desert home is nestled near Biltmore and Piestewa Peak which includes signature views of the mountain preserves and provides you easy access to all of central Phoenix that includes cultural events, museum and world class shopping and resorts.
