HOT NEW PRICE TO SELL! A Rare Find! Welcome to Sands North, Scottsdale’s newest historic neighborhood. This classic Arizona-Modern townhome is being offered by the owner for the first time since purchased in 1977. Remarkably preserved and untouched, this home feels as fresh as when it was built in 1972.
You’ll find a classic front courtyard entry to greet you to the home. In addition to the original decor, the floorplan offers generous rooms with a truly oversized owner’s retreat. The living room too is extra generous to make for easy living. The spacious eat-in kitchen includes white tile and original cabinets. A generous covered patio open to a rear and side yard complete with storage shed. The development offers a spectacular community pool.
These late mid-century modern townhomes feature wrought-iron gates, decorative wood doors and carports, solidly landing them in a 1970’s southwestern-modern vibe. With 51 homes and only 5 floorplans, every house is unique in detail with little repetition.
Developed in 1972 by Phoenix builder E.T. Wright, Sands North is the best preserved of all Wright’s townhome developments. The location is superb with high-end Scottsdale shopping and restaurants a short trip or bike ride away, and the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park sits just next door. Also adjacent to the upcoming Ritz-Carlton Paradise Valley Resort and the Palmeraie Shops, this is where Scottsdale Meets Paradise Valley!
These super-desirable homes do not often come available. Sold for restoration or renovation, call today for a personal tour. Some exclusions, please call for details. This shall be an ”as-is”, where-is” sale — strictly no repairs considered. Cash or equivalent please, sold not subject to appraisal.
About E.T. Wright: Emron Thomas Wright was born in Cedar City, Utah in 1917, and spent his younger career in the lumber business in Phoenix, and his later career in industrial construction. He died in 2001. In the middle years, from the late 1950s to 1980 or so, he produced over 3,000 homes in the valley. His “American Builders” did consistently interesting and high-quality work. Some of his work is comprised of entire subdivisions, and some single houses. Demand and recognition of E.T. Wright legacy is increasing as the unique design reflected in his homes become highly celebrated.
