Description

In our opinion, this is simply one of the finest homes we know of in the area. George Christensen designed this home which now features 3 bedrooms in the main house plus a large attached guest house.

It is in pristine condition with original handmade concrete tiles, mortar washed fired adobe brick walls, solid mahogany doors, and large kitchen with subzero, fireplace & built-in grill. The stunninglLandscape was designed by renowned landscape architect Christy Ten Eyck and offers a garden paradise of unequalled beauty and nature. Breathtaking views of Camelback Mountain make the perfect backdrop to this timeless home.

Award winning & featured in numerous books & magazines, it is one of Mr. Christensen’s first designs constructed here in the Valley and is considered one of his finest. An excellent adaptation of the Southwestern Adobe vernacular, with modest and subtle nods to the modern ethic of the times. NOTE: Queen Creek Adobe blocks, once a staple here, are no longer manufactured locally having run out of the clay-earth material.

An absolute gem of a home, rich with detail. It now features some thoughtful additions and updating by Link/Design.
