Description

Built of steel, glass, and resin bonded maritime grade plywood, the Schrage House was constructed concurrently with Soriano’s influential Case Study House and is the last of his 1950s houses to use to 10 x 24 modular steel frame. Soriano’s trademark one=story pavilion form is translated to a hillside setting by placing the two-car garage at the lower street level and concentration the broad and low living space above.
