Starry Night | An ARTrageous Gala

Join in celebrating the 20th Anniversary the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA). Cocktails, live music, dazzling new art, and guest performers from around the country are all part of this exciting evening of gourmet dishes and fun under the stars.
The evening will look back at the founding of SMoCA—a unique and vital cultural resource for the Southwest—and it will explore how its history will help shape our future.
This year is the debut of Scottsdale Arts’ new Herberger Award for the Arts, which will be presented to Dr. Robert Knight, SMoCA’s founding director. The program will also honor the visionaries who were instrumental in the birth of the SMoCA, including
• Will Bruder, SMoCA architect
• Sam Campana, Former Scottsdale Mayor
• Kathy Hotchner, former director of Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts
• Frank Jacobson, former CEO of Scottsdale Arts
• Carolyn Robbins, former curator of education for Scottsdale Arts
• Randy Schilling, former director of development for Scottsdale Arts
• Valerie Vadala-Homer, former director of Scottsdale Public Art
• Ellie Ziegler, philanthropist and former Scottsdale Arts board chair
