Mountain View East – John Rattenbury Architect

This beautiful McCormick Ranch home was originally designed by John Rattenbury, and is one of the only handful of homes designed by the famed Taliesin Architect. This example has been updated but still has the Taliesin influences that can be seen throughout. From the soffits in nearly every room, to the skylights on both the interior and exterior of the home, the contemporary architecture of this home is very unique and desert appropriate;  Deep overhangs protect from the sun, large doors connect to the outside and the interiors offer a long view line from within.
