This updated Mid-Century Modern Gem features the highly sought after plan built by 1960‘s Valley home builder Allied and designed by Charles and Arthur Schreiber. The distinctive asymmetrical low angle roofline and full height windows will instantly draw your attention from the street; the very definition of this signature style.

Fully remodeled in 2006, the interiors have diamond-ground concrete floors throughout with vaulted ceilings and exposed wood beams greet you as you enter. The sand-blasted fireplace with “fire & ice” feature warms the living room. Fully upgraded Kitchen features a DCS 5 Burner cooktop/oven, stainless steel sink, quartz composite countertops and custom cabinets. The master suite includes walk-in closet and shower with glass mosaic tile, designer toilet and sinks and euro faucets.

What’s more? The 2006 renovation included upgraded 200 amp electrical panel, additional wiring, dual pane low-e windows, Trane 19 SEER A/C unit, roof, heated pool, and landscaping. Recent improvements include expanded kitchen and cabinets, mature shade trees, water softener and designer finishes. With all the hard work done to the home you’ll get a classic 60’s Modern with upgrades that you expect in today’s contemporary new-build construction. Hurry this one won’t last!

About the design and history: Allied Construction built thousands of quality, Post-War homes in the Phoenix Metro area throughout the 1950s and 1960s. Twin brothers “Chick” and “Art” Schreiber designed this trademark mid-century modern elevation for Allied, which was featured in several Allied communities. There are only approximately 50 of the mid-century modern elevation homes in the top Allied communities, making it something of a rarity. Trademark features of this design are the low-sloped roof, front wall of windows, exposed beams, tapered front patio posts and the telltale detail; fenestrated blockwork found at the entry.
